The Center for Lymphedema Surgery at the Institute for Advanced Reconstruction is now recognized as a LE&RN Center of Excellence
We are proud to announce that our Center for Lymphedema Surgery has been selected as a Lymphatic Disease Surgery Center of Excellence (COE) by the Lymphatic Education and Research Network (LE&RN). This designation indicates that a center has undergone extensive review by a global panel of experts and was found to meet all COE criteria set forth by LE&RN.
The goal of the LE&RN COE program is to increase access to the best possible multi-disciplinary clinical care and services for individuals affected by lymphatic diseases (LD). The centers also provide education to other medical providers and patients, are actively involved in LD research, and work with LE&RN in its efforts to improve the lives of those affected by LD and their families. We are extremely honored to be named a Center of Excellence as we continue to make advancements in lymphedema surgery and offer each patient individualized treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
